
Easy chili cheese fries... what more do I say?
I think this may be in my top five recipes we've ever created.
Easy, comforting, and delicious - all of my requirements for a successful dish.
Pour over homemade fries, sweet potato fries, or even a baked potato!

Easy Chili Cheese Fries

Ingredients:
One batch of our nacho cheese sauce
*(See recipe below)
Homemade fries
Chili:
1 -15 oz can black beans (rinsed and drained)
1 – 15 oz can kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
½ cup chopped red onion
1 bell pepper chopped
Chili Sauce:
1 roasted red bell pepper
½ cup vegetable broth/stock
¼ cup tomato paste
2 tsp white miso paste
¼ - ½ tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
Add black beans, kidney beans, chopped onion, and chopped bell pepper to a small pot.
In a high-speed blender combine all of the chili sauce ingredients and blend until smooth.
Pour chili sauce into the small pot with beans, onion, and bell pepper.
Simmer on low for around 10-15 minutes.
Pour over homemade fries and add a large spoonful of the nacho cheese sauce over top.

Nacho Cheese Sauce
By: The Jaroudi Family
Ingredients:
1/2 cup raw cashews
1/4 cup water - ** (if blender is having trouble double this) **
1 large piece of roasted red pepper (1/2 cup chopped)
3 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp miso
1 tsp rice vinegar
2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions:
Blend together all ingredients in a high-speed blender
Serve Warm
