Easy Mashed Potatoes | Whole Food Plant-Based


What is one of my favorite comfort foods?


Mashed potatoes hands down!


I wanted to show you guys how easy, simple, and all the ways you can change up this recipe for the entire family.


I will say the more nondairy milk you add in as you mash the potatoes - the creamier it gets.


Great for Thanksgiving coming up or just a fantastic side dish all year round.

Easy Mashed Potatoes

Easy Mashed Potatoes 
4-6 servings 
By: The Jaroudi Family 
 
Ingredients: 
 
3-4 large potato (6 cups diced) cooked 
1 tsp garlic powder 
1 tsp onion powder 
1 tbsp nutritional yeast 
1 tbsp white miso 
1/3 nondairy milk unsweetened/unflavored + extra until level of creamiest desire. 
[^I like to add a tbsp extra at a time]
 
Directions:
 
In a large pot cook diced potatoes until fork tender and drain the water. 
 
Add in all remaining ingredients and mash together until smooth. 
 
If you like a creamier mashed potatoes add in extra non-dairy milk.
 
Serve warm 
 
Enjoy!! 
 
 
*Best with neutral nondairy milk like soymilk or almond milk
