Easy Savory Granola [Refined Sugar Free//Oil-Free//Nut Free]

Where are all my savory fans at? We do have a sweet granola recipe I will link here for you to check out - but I guarantee you will be such a fan of this one as well.

It's unique, easy, customizable, and is such a great travel or camping food!

I love this recipe because you can change up the cooked grains - we used buckwheat and millet.. but the sky is the limit (oat groats, sorghum, quinoa, farro, wheat berries).

If you make the recipe make sure you let us know!

Seriously this is one of our favorite snacks/breakfast to have on hand, and it makes a huge volume - 6 cups!

Makes around 6 cups

Ingredients:

1/2 cup dates + 3/4 cup water + 1/4 tsp miso
6 Tbsp water + 2 Tbsp flax meal
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup cooked millet (or any other cooked grain)
1 cup cooked buckwheat (or any other cooked grain)
1/3 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup raw sesame seeds
1/3 cup raw sunflower seeds
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp ginger powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp black pepper

Directions:

Blend together dates+3/4 cup water + miso with a high-speed blender

Make Flax Egg (6 tbsp water + 2 tbsp flax meal) let sit for 10 minutes

Mix together oats, cooked grains, flax eggs, blended date/water/miso, and seasoning

Bake at 200 F degrees for around 1 hour and 20 minutes

Remove from oven

Let cool & enjoy!

Notes:
You can sprinkle extra chili powder on the easy savory granola for a boost in flavor.

P.s. Swap the cooked whole grains - or even the seasonings for this recipe // we've enjoyed garlic, onion, cumin, and even curry powder with this granola!

I hope you'll give these recipes a try, and let us know if you liked them!

We love seeing photographs of our recipes and just in general hearing from you guys!

Wishing you all the best,

Thank you Brittany this looks really good. I like to blend my flax "egg" to make it more egg-like.
