Sloppy Lentils (Refined Sugar-Free & Plant-Based) By: The Jaroudi Family www.youtube.com/thejaroudifamily www.thejaroudifamily.com Ingredients: o 2 cups tomato paste o 2 tsp lemon juice o 2 tsp apple cider vinegar o ¼ cup date paste o 2 tbsp molasses o 1 tbsp white miso o 2 tsp garlic powder o 2 tsp onion powder o 2 tsp smoked paprika o 2 cups cooked lentils (brown, green, or black) Directions: o Mix together all ingredients except cooked lentils and blend together well o Add cooked lentils and sauce together in a medium pot o Heat until warmed Tips: o Serve on a whole wheat hamburger bun o Serve over a whole grain – bulgur wheat, rice, farro, quinoa o Serve on a bed of greens
