Strawberry Oat Shake [Easy!]

This weekend in Pittsburgh we had a bit of sunshine and warmth roll-in.

I am so ready for spring and warm weather that I decided to make one of our favorite recipes strawberry oat shakes to celebrate.

Wonderful as a quick breakfast, snack, or even as a dessert!

Perfect serving size for two people and will thicken up even more if placed in the refrigerator.

Strawberry Oat Shake [Easy!]

Two Servings

Ingredients:
2 cups nondairy milk (unflavored and unsweetened)
½ tsp vanilla extract (or powder)
1 cup raw rolled oats
2 tbsp flax meal
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries

Notes:
If you used fresh strawberries – you may want to add in ½ cup of ice-cubes.

One pitted date can make the smoothie a bit sweeter.

Try with 1 tbsp of cocoa or cacao powder for a chocolate-strawberry oat shake.

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.

Blend until smooth.

Makes two servings.

Enjoy!!

I hope you'll give this recipe a try, and let us know if you liked them!

We love seeing photographs of our recipes and just in general hearing from you guys!

Wishing you all the best,

Brittany
